South King County Farmers Market Round Up
Last summer, I put together one of my favorite charcuterie boards using all local finds from the Maple Valley Farmers’ Market. I grabbed a refreshing drink mix from Alpenglow Cocktail Company, creamy Gouda from Neighbor Lady Cheese, and fresh produce for homemade bruschetta. I couldn’t resist adding a bouquet of peonies and a cozy candle from Horse and Coal to round out the market experience. You can check it all out here.
Beyond the beauty and flavor, shopping local truly matters—according to the Farmers Market Coalition, growers selling locally create 13 full-time jobs for every $1 million in revenue, compared to only three for those not selling locally. Supporting farmers markets isn’t just about delicious food and artisan goods—it’s an investment in our communities.

🥕 Maple Valley Farmers’ Market

Days & Hours: Saturdays, 9 AM – 2 PM (May through October)
Fun Fact: Celebrating its 17th season in 2025, this market is affectionately known as “The Saturday Place to Be!”
🍓 Federal Way Farmers Market
Address: 1701 S 320th St, Federal Way, WA 98003 (South parking lot along 324th & Pacific Hwy)
Days & Hours: Saturdays, 9 AM – 3 PM (May 10 – October 25, 2025)
Fun Fact: Features live entertainment, including the popular “Federal Way’s Got Talent” event, and a variety of food trucks offering delicious treats.
🥬 Issaquah Farmers Market
Address: 1730 10th Ave NW, Issaquah, WA 98027 (Pickering Barn)
Days & Hours: Saturdays (seasonal dates not specified)
Fun Fact: Aims to support local farmers and artisans, offering a community space to connect and enjoy fresh, locally grown produce.
🍅 Renton Farmers Market
Address: 233 Burnett Ave S, Renton, WA 98057 (between S 2nd and S 3rd Streets)
Days & Hours: Tuesdays, 2 PM – 6 PM
Fun Fact: Conveniently located just one block from the Renton Transit Center, making it easily accessible for commuters.
🌽 Enumclaw Plateau Farmers’ Market
Address: First Street/Kasey Kahne Drive, Enumclaw, WA 98022 (between Griffin Ave and Washington Ave)
Days & Hours: Thursdays, 3 PM – 7 PM (June through September)
Fun Fact: Offers unique programs like the Kids’ Power of Produce Club and a raffle to win a fresh Thanksgiving turkey, supporting both youth and senior nutrition initiatives.
